Theatre presents The Anna Plays on May 5

The Fine Arts Department presents the annual The Anna Plays, an ICC tradition since 1960, on May 5th at 7:00 pm. Performances will take place in the Black Box Theatre; free admission.

“This year, our student-directed plays will also utilize our lighting design class,” explained Paul Molnar, Director of Theatre Performance. “Three lighting students will collaborate and design alongside our directors.”

This year’s productions are:

THE SKYLESS SUN by Isha Hill
Directed by Jackson Horning

“On a dark rainy beach, a couple sits along the shore.  Through grief, sadness and codependency Linda discovers how to function on her own.”

UNDERGROUND IN A WELL-LIT BOX by Susan Hunt
Directed by Artemus Montgomery

“A play that explores the cycle of nothingness.”

DATE WITH DEATH by Steven Hayet
Directed by Haley Lewis

“A romantic twist on a love story; this dark comedy, introduces you to Angela, a young woman who prefers murder over rejection.  However, this time her baggage does not go unnoticed.”
