Dear Future Pirates,
On behalf of the faculty and staff at Independence Community College, it is my pleasure to welcome you. Every day is a great day to be a Pirate, and I invite you to become a part of our vibrant campus community. As we approach our 100th anniversary, it’s an exciting time to join us and discover what it means to be a Pirate.
ICC offers a wide variety of outstanding academic programs while promoting cultural enrichment and economic development in our surrounding communities. We are committed to providing an academic experience that equips students with the practical skills and knowledge needed to lead in the global 21st-century workforce.
ICC continues to be a preferred institution for students from across Kansas and the nation. I am particularly proud of our dedicated faculty and staff here that practice a "student-first" approach working as a team to support students in achieving their educational and career goals.
I encourage you to take advantage of all that ICC has to offer. Explore the arts in our premier fine arts facility. Benefit from our expanded online courses and programs. Visit our MIT-chartered Fab Lab ICC to enhance your entrepreneurial pursuits. Try out for one of our championship-winning athletic teams or join one of our many extra curriculars on campus.
