College Hosts ICC Arts Day on December 2

ICC is excited to invite area juniors and seniors to ICC Arts Day from 9:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. on December 2, 2022. The event will take place on the ICC Main Campus.

"Arts Day is a highlight of the semester because of what it allows us to highlight: our incredible faculty and the fantastic work they do every day with students," explains Heather Mydosh, Arts and Humanities Division Head. "Participants have the opportunity to see up close and for themselves what it's like to work with professors in their area of specialty. It's always a joy to see my colleagues engage with their passions and do what they do best: educate."

Students can sign up for various workshops in art, communications, music, theatre, and art. This year, workshops for school professionals and support staff are being offered in conjunction with student workshops.

"Arts Day is a wonderful way for protentional students to get a "day-in-the-life-of" experience," said Paul Molnar, Director of Theatre Performance. "Our workshops will offer an opportunity to work with our instructors in small class sizes, just like our students do while attending ICC. These workshops are really fun and a wonderful way to see how much ICC has to offer in our Fine Arts Departments and how easy it is to feel right at home at Independence Community College."
