David Adams
Vice President for Student Affairs and Title IX Coordinator
Adams has worked with students at institutions across the country. Most recently, Adams has served as program manager for the Tulsa Community WorkAdvance, an organization that provides upskilling, certifications, and technical trainings to help individuals secure quality employment. Adams served as Dean of Student Affairs at the Tulsa Community College West Campus (2019-2021), Director of Student Life at the Tulsa Community College Metro/Downtown Campus (2015-2019), Director of Student Involvement and Leadership at the University of North Dakota (2014-2015), and Assistant Director for Campus Activities at Pittsburg State University (2009-2014).

With Adams leading the division, I am confident that our students will gain the skills they need to succeed on campus and in life after college,” said ICC President Dr. Vincent Bowhay.
Adams received his Master of Arts in Education Administration and Leadership from the University of the Pacific in 2007. He graduated from California State University, San Bernardino with a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology in 2003.
The Vice President for Student Affairs oversees the student experience at ICC and provides students with the support and resources they need to thrive in college. Reporting to the President and serving as a member of the President’s senior leadership team, the Vice President for Student Affairs is responsible for the strategic vision, administration, supervision, and resource management within the Division of Student Affairs, which includes student safety, Title IX, campus activities, enrollment and retention, student health, esports, veteran student services, and more.
