Bridget Carson
English Professor
Bridget Carson is Professor of Developmental English where she creates Writing Hygiene practices to support the skills and confidence of some of our most vulnerable students on their journey to academic success. With a Bachelor of Arts in Violin Performance from Connecticut College in 2000 and a Master of Fine Arts in Music Composition from the Vermont College of Fine Arts in 2019, she is also a Professor of Music, including teaching Music Appreciation, Applied Lessons, coaching Chamber Ensembles, performs with, conducts, and composes for our student and community ensembles. Since the Fall of 2018, she has been a Playwright coach for ICC’s High School 24Hr Plays. She serves on the Faculty Senate as a representative of Arts and Letters, is the Faculty Senate’s Liaison to the Student Government Association, a voting member of Academic Council, and serves on the Judicial Committee. An avid, if not always apt gardener, she Co-Chairs the Tree Committee with David Adams.
