Sadhoo Selected as 2024 Veteran Champion of the Year in Higher Education

India Sadhoo

ICC is proud to announce that India Sadhoo has been selected as a 2024 Veteran Champion of the Year in Higher Education by the Military Friendly® program. Sadhoo currently serves as the Program Coordinator for the Veterans Success Center. The 2024 Veteran Champions of the Year in Higher Education awards honor individuals who support veterans in higher education. While nominees do not need to be military veterans, they must demonstrate a strong advocacy for veterans who have served.

"I am profoundly honored to be named a 2024 Veteran Champion of the Year! I have witnessed the immense challenges and barriers many veterans face when transitioning from military life to college," said Sadhoo. "I have also seen the unwavering determination, sincere joy, and deep pride among these students as they strive towards their educational goals. Their determination inspires and motivates me to work daily to provide veterans and their families with access to resources, support, and guidance through every step of their college journey and beyond. I am grateful for the opportunity to serve those who have given so much, and I am committed to being their advocate and ally in their pursuit of success!"

The winners will be featured in the October issue of G.I. Jobs magazine. This global publication has been connecting service members, veterans, and their families to civilian career, education, and business opportunities since 2001.

"India's recognition as a 2024 Veteran Champion of the Year in Higher Education highlights her unwavering commitment and the positive impact she has on our students and community," said Lori Boots, Vice President for Human Resources.
