ICC is pleased to announce the appointment of Tyler Allen as the new Director for Enrollment and Retention Management. He brings over a decade of experience in advising and recruiting, with a notable background in community college recruitment in southeast Kansas.

His experience in community college recruiting and admissions, particularly in southeast Kansas, coupled with his dedication to student success, make him an invaluable addition to our team,” said Dr. Jonathan Sadhoo, President. “Tyler's proven ability to grow student populations and his strong connections within the state will be instrumental in expanding our reach and enhancing our campus community.”
The Director of Enrollment and Retention Management at ICC supervises recruiting, admissions, and advising staff and ensures alignment with ICC's mission. The Director designs efficient enrollment processes, coordinates with Student Affairs on retention strategies, manages student databases, and provides enrollment forecasting to senior leadership.
Allen has a proven career in advising and recruiting. He previously served as the Director of Admissions and Academic Advisor at Labette Community College since July 2022. He grew and maintained strong advising relationships with students in this role, playing a significant role in their successful graduations. With over ten years of advising experience, he has demonstrated a marked capability to work as part of a team focused on student success.
Allen holds a B.A. in Ministry from MidAmerica Nazarene University.
