ICC proudly celebrates the academic achievements of 14 student-athletes who have been named to the 2024–2025 NJCAA All-Academic Team. Highlighting this year’s honors, the Indy Volleyball team was recognized as an NJCAA Academic Team of the Year, boasting a collective 3.23 GPA.

“We’re incredibly proud of these student-athletes and the commitment they’ve shown in the classroom,” said Melissa Anderson, ICC Athletic Director. “Balancing athletics and academics takes real discipline, and these honors are a testament to the character of our students and the support they receive from coaches, faculty, and staff.”

The NJCAA All-Academic awards are categorized by GPA as follows:
First Team: 4.00 GPA
Second Team: 3.80–3.99 GPA
Third Team: 3.60–3.79 GPA

To be named an NJCAA Academic Team of the Year, a team must maintain a cumulative GPA of 3.00 or higher. Indy Volleyball not only surpassed that benchmark but also had six team members receive individual academic honors.

“At ICC, we believe academic excellence and athletic achievement go hand in hand,” said Taylor Crawshaw, Vice President of Academic Affairs. “These recognitions demonstrate our student-athletes’ drive to succeed both on and off the field. It’s a reflection of the hard work, time management, and resilience our students consistently show, along with the support they receive from our faculty, coaches, and academic staff.”
