ICC is proud to announce the addition of a Nail Technician Certification Course to its Cosmetology Program. Following formal approval from the Higher Learning Commission's Institutional Actions Council, ICC has received official notification that the new program has met all requirements and standards.

The Nail Technician Certification Course is designed to equip students with specialized skills in nail care, including manicures, pedicures, nail art, sanitation practices, and client services. This addition builds on ICC's commitment to offering high-quality, in-demand training for students entering the cosmetology field.

“We’re excited to offer another valuable skillset to our students and the industry,” said Taylor Crawshaw, Vice President of Academic Affairs. “The addition of the Nail Technician Certification Course reflects ICC’s continued efforts to respond to industry needs and provide accessible, relevant workforce training.”

Chelsea Bailey, Director of the ICC Cosmetology Program, shared her enthusiasm: “Being able to offer this certification means we can better serve students who are passionate about nail care and want to build a career in that area. I’m thrilled to see this course come to life, and even more excited to see it fill  quickly.”

The new course will be housed within the ICC Cosmetology Department at ICC West, with hands-on learning and professional instruction to prepare students for licensure and immediate employment opportunities.
