ICC Esports program is celebrating a successful start to the playoff season, with strong performances from its Call of Duty, Overwatch, and Fortnite teams.
Call of Duty Team Secures Scholarship Money and Playoff Berth
The ICC Call of Duty team has achieved a historic milestone, securing scholarship money for the first time in program history. The team received a BYE in the first round of the Playfly Premier Playoffs, guaranteeing each of the four team members a $109 scholarship prize. They have advanced to the semi-finals and will face Fisher College on Thursday, April 3rd. The Call of Duty team has also qualified for the CCL (Call of Duty Collegiate League) Playoffs, with the bracket to be announced later this week.

Fortnite Teams Achieve Top Rankings in National Championship
The ICC Fortnite teams showcased their talent at the Playfly National Championship. ICC Fortnite 2 placed 9th overall, while ICC Fortnite 1 secured 10th place. Notably, ICC Fortnite 2's 9th-place finish is the highest placement for a Community College in collegiate Fortnite.
