Independence Community College (ICC) invites students, families, and community members to explore exciting career pathways at the upcoming Career and Technical Education (CTE) Day, scheduled for Tuesday, February 4, from 9 AM to 3 PM.
This immersive event will showcase ICC's exceptional CTE programs and provide hands-on opportunities to learn more about the skills and training needed to succeed in high-demand careers. Participants will have the chance to meet expert faculty, tour facilities, and gain insights into programs that prepare students for success in the workforce.
In addition to exploring ICC’s career-focused offerings, the ICC Foundation will be awarding scholarships during the event, giving students an exciting opportunity to receive financial support for their education. Attendees will enjoy a complimentary lunch.
“CTE Day is a fantastic opportunity for prospective students to see firsthand how our programs can open doors to fulfilling careers,” said Tyler Allen, Director for Enrollment and Retention Management. “At ICC, we are committed to empowering individuals with the skills and knowledge they need to thrive in their chosen fields. With the ICC Foundation’s scholarships, we are also able to provide meaningful resources to help students achieve their educational goals.”
Whether you’re a high school student considering your next steps, an adult looking to upskill, or simply curious about what ICC has to offer, this event is the perfect place to start your journey.
