The Independence Community College (ICC) Esports teams are on a roll this season, with the ICC Call of Duty team recently defeating Wichita State Tech, bringing their record to an impressive 3-0.
The Call of Duty team’s recent victories include:
October 1: ICC COD vs. Wichita State Tech – Win (1-0) Match Link
October 3: ICC COD vs. King University – Win Match Link
In Overwatch, ICC secured two wins:
September 25: ICC Overwatch vs. University of Portland – Win (3-2) Match Link
October 4: ICC Overwatch vs. Umpqua College – Win (1-0) Match Link
Zachary Spradlin, Director of Esports at ICC, expressed his pride in the teams' performance: “Our students have shown incredible teamwork and dedication this season. Their success reflects the hard work they put in and their commitment to growing as players and individuals.”
Additionally, ICC's Fortnite teams are ranked impressively, with placements at 5th, 8th, 9th, and 25th in the Playfly Collegiate Series Fall 2024.
