College Hosts Annual Fall Arts Day on November 15th

ICC Fine Arts is proud to announce its annual Fall Arts Day on Friday, November 15th. The event is designed to inspire and engage high school students and the community with a day of creativity, exploration, and learning in the arts.

The day will open with a special performance of ICC's Fall Touring Show, Romeo & Juliet, bringing Shakespeare’s timeless tragedy to life. Following the performance, attendees will have the opportunity to engage with the cast and crew during a brief talkback session, providing insights into the production process and behind-the-scenes experiences.

Participants will then enjoy a complimentary lunch before moving on to two hands-on 50-minute workshop sessions, which they will register for in advance. The workshops will cover a wide variety of artistic disciplines, including acting, poetry, music, and technical theatre. Each session offers participants a chance to dive deep into their creative interests and develop new skills under the guidance of ICC’s talented faculty and guest artists.

“Fall Arts Day is one of my favorite days on campus; students get to engage with our talented and enthusiastic faculty in their natural habitat, and that kind of joy is irrepressible,” said Heather Mydosh, Arts and Letters Division Chair at ICC. “This event also empowers students to pick what they want to participate in, and that choice is a great little taste of the college experience here at ICC. “

The event is open to all high school students and educators interested in attending. For more information, including registration details, please visit https://www.indycc.edu/areas-of-study/fine-arts/arts-day.
