Fab Lab ICC is thrilled to announce its lineup of exciting and hands-on summer camps designed to inspire creativity and innovation in young minds. From manufacturing to mosaic art and sewing, these camps offer a unique opportunity for children and teens to explore their interests and develop new skills in a supportive and engaging environment.
1. Spark Squad Manufacturing Camp
Description: Students will dive into the world of welding and manufacturing, create their own projects, explore entrepreneurship, and gain valuable insights through a local manufacturing facility tour.
Dates: June 3rd-6th, 2024
Time: 9:00am - 3:15pm
Location: Fab Lab ICC, 2564 Brookside Dr., Independence, KS
Cost: $59.00 (Lunch provided)

2. Mosaic Art Camp
Description: Campers will unleash their creativity as they craft two unique pieces of art using glass or ceramic pieces held together with mortar/grout.
Dates: June 10th-13th, 2024
Time: 1:00pm - 3:30pm
Age Group: Kids ages 7-17
Location: Fab Lab ICC, 2564 Brookside Dr., Independence, KS
Cost: $10.00

3. Sew Fabulous Camp
Description: Participants will master basic sewing techniques to create personalized projects, including a pillowcase and other small items.
Dates: June 17th-20th, 2024
Time: 9:00am - 11:30am
Age Group: Ages 11-17
