Married to the late journalist Gloria Murry Ford for 40 years, Sam Ford is a devoted father to Murry Ford, a hospital vice president, and Gina Ford, a strategic communications director.

An active member of the historic Ebenezer United Methodist Church on Capitol Hill, Ford remains deeply connected to his roots and community.
