Carlson and Engstrom Selected for All-Kansas Academic Team

ICC is proud to announce that Mija Carlson and Tucker Engstrom have been selected as honorees of the Phi Theta Kappa All-Kansas Academic Team.

The Phi Theta Kappa All-Kansas Academic Team recognizes high-achieving college students who demonstrate exceptional academic excellence, intellectual rigor, leadership, and service that extends their education beyond the classroom to benefit society. Mija Carlson and Tucker Engstrom exemplify these qualities and more.

Mija Carlson has consistently demonstrated a commitment to academic excellence and community service throughout her time at Independence Community College. Her dedication to learning and leadership has not only enriched her own educational experience but has also positively impacted those around her.

Similarly, Tucker Engstrom's academic achievements and contributions to the community have earned him this prestigious honor. His exemplary leadership skills and commitment to service have made a lasting impact on both the campus and the broader community.
