Fine Arts Presents Erin Dilly for Exclusive Acting Workshop

Erin Dilly

ICC Fine Arts is proud to announce a special acting workshop featuring Tony-nominated Broadway, television, and film veteran Erin Dilly on Friday, December 1st. The workshop will take place after the student matinee of Tartuffe, at the William Inge Theatre and will cater to both area high school students and ICC students.

Erin Dilly brings over 25 years of industry expertise to this exclusive event. Renowned for her notable Broadway roles, including A CHRISTMAS STORY, NICE WORK IF YOU CAN GET IT (opposite Mr. Matthew Broderick), and CHITTY CHITTY BANG BANG, for which she received a Tony Award nomination for Best Actress in a Musical, Dilly has consistently demonstrated her exceptional talent and versatility on stage.

Notably, Erin Dilly recently stood by for Sarah Jessica Parker in the lead role of PLAZA SUITE, opening at the Colonial Theatre in Boston and moving on to a sold-out run on Broadway at the historic Hudson Theatre. Her extensive career spans national tours of SOUTH PACIFIC, MARTIN GUERRE, and BEAUTY AND THE BEAST, as well as significant contributions to television and film, including BOARDWALK EMPIRE, BULL, and JULIE AND JULIA.

In addition to her illustrious performing career, Erin Dilly serves as adjunct faculty at Pace University and Manhattan School of Music in their Musical Theatre Departments. She is also the founder of her own studio, the Living Studio, located in NYC (livingstudionyc.com).

Erin Dilly is not only an accomplished performer but also a dedicated educator. She co-founded the performing arts intensive 12 MILES TO BROADWAY (12miles2broadway.com) and established the successful Broadway training camp, 5 DAYS OF BROADWAY, at the Segerstrom Center for the Arts in Costa Mesa, CA. Her commitment to fostering the next generation of talent is further exemplified by her role as a guest artist instructor with Kristin Chenoweth’s Broadway Boot Camp.

The workshop schedule includes two insightful sessions:

12:30-2:15 - Acting the Song
2:30-4:00 - Audition Workshop

The day concludes with a 45-minute Q&A session with Erin Dilly, providing participants with a unique opportunity to engage directly with the Broadway veteran.
