The Independence Community College Athletic Department, in collaboration with the men's and women's basketball programs and spirit teams, is thrilled to announce the upcoming "Pirate Madness" event. This exciting event is set to take place on Sunday, October 29th, inside The FirstOak Bank & Oakes Family Field House, marking the official kickoff for the Men's and Women's Basketball 2023-24 season.
"Pirate Madness" promises an electrifying, family-friendly evening open to the public, beginning at 6:30 PM. This pep rally-style event will set the stage for the upcoming basketball season, offering a range of exciting activities and interactions for attendees.
Highlights of the evening include a three-point contest, face painting, and a special "meet and greet" session with the players. Attendees can engage in entertaining games with a chance to win prizes and enjoy captivating performances by the cheer team. Head Coaches Rob Beckmann and Jai Steadman will provide insights into the upcoming season.
