College Announces MyPath2ASU® Transfer Pathways Collaboration

Independence Community College (ICC) and Arizona State University (ASU) are excited to announce a Universal Articulation agreement. This strategic partnership signifies the shared commitment of both institutions to promoting academic preparedness and fostering an ecosystem of success for transfer students. By joining forces, ICC and ASU aim to provide students with a seamless transition to the university, along with the essential support necessary for their achievement.

The collaboration includes the implementation of the Independence Community College MyPath2ASU® transfer experience, which is designed to benefit students as well as the dedicated staff who assist them. This comprehensive program offers end-to-end learner navigation through course-by-course guided pathways, personalized assistance in selecting courses that align with their associate and ASU bachelor's degrees, guaranteed general admission to ASU, and the opportunity to choose their desired MyPath2ASU major, contingent upon meeting all requirements. Additionally, students can conveniently track their degree progress to minimize any potential loss of credits and receive tailored ASU communications that facilitate academic preparation and foster a strong connection with the university.

“We are always seeking opportunities for ICC graduates to easily continue their education with our four-year partners,” explains Taylor Crawshaw, Vice President for Academic Affairs. “This partnership allows students to remain in Southeast Kansas and continue on their educational journey.”

This Universal Articulation agreement represents a significant milestone in advancing student success and strengthening the educational landscape. Both ICC and ASU are dedicated to fostering a collaborative environment that facilitates the growth and prosperity of transfer students.
