ICC Student Life welcomes the public to a Flag Day Ceremony on the ICC Main Campus on Wednesday, November 16, from 11:00 am -12:00 pm; free admission.

International Education Week is recognized from November 14-18. Student Affairs offers various activities for students to participate in that raise awareness of the ICC International Student Organization and shine a light on the experiences of our pirates studying abroad. Students can learn new languages, participate in fun games and quizzes and partake in the annual ICC Flag Day Ceremony.

“One of the highlights during International Education Week is the Flag Day ceremony,” explained David Adams, Vice President for Student Affairs. “During this ceremony, ICC has an opportunity to recognize and appreciate our international and diverse faculty, staff, and students.”

Keynote Ayanna Hensley, Miss Kansas 2022, will open the ceremony, which will go into a flag raising of each country represented on campus by ICC students, faculty, and staff.

“While this ceremony takes place on November 16, the flags will stay up for many months to remind us of this special event,” concluded Adams.
