Registration is now open for Fab Lab ICC’s fall Guitar Fabrication class, scheduled for Tuesdays, August 16-December 6 from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. at the lab, 2564 Brookside Drive, on the main campus.
Instructed by Steve Reid, the course provides a start-to-finish experience in producing a complete guitar, with options including electric 6-string; 4-string bass and 6-string acoustic models.
The course will cover basic woodworking and wood finishing techniques; tutorials on how electric guitars work; how guitar components are made; and instruction on guitar assembly and intonation.
