In collaboration with the Wildcat Extension district of K-State University, Fab Food Lab will facilitate a 3-day class for kids to help them learn about cooking healthy food. This hands-on camp is being offered for kids ages 10-12 in Independence at the ICC West Campus Culinary Kitchen. From July 12-14, there will be a morning session and an afternoon session. The morning session will go from 9:00 a.m. - 11:30 a.m. and the afternoon session will go from 1:00 p.m. - 3:30 p.m. This class will also be duplicated in Cherryvale, Fredonia, and Parsons.
The cost of the camp is $20 and includes an apron. Those interested in more information and to register can follow the link in the Events (lower right) section of the Fab Lab home page at www.fablabicc.org or go to Fab Lab ICC at Independence Community College - Kitchen Kids.
