The Dwight D. Eisenhower Excellence in Public Service Series is a nonprofit leadership development organization whose mission is to prepare Republican women to seek greater involvement in leadership, government and politics. More than 300 women from across the state have participated in the Series since the first class was formed in 2006.
The Series is comprised of educational sessions held throughout the state, typically once a month starting in November, with graduation in June. This is the third year the Series has visited Independence.
