The Visual Arts Department at ICC welcomes visual art submissions from high school seniors, incoming college students, and current college students for a Juried Art Exhibition that will be on display in the ICC Fine Arts Building from April 1 through April 29 2022. A reception and awards ceremony will be held on April 8 from 5-7 pm in the ICC Black Box Theater.
DEADLINE FOR ENTRY
March 4. No entries will be accepted after this date.
AWARDS
1st place: $2,000 2022-23 AY scholarship
2nd place: $1,000 2022-23 AY scholarship
3rd place: $500 2022-23 AY scholarship
Honorable mention: $250 2022-23 AY scholarship
ELIGIBILITY
Open to high school seniors, incoming college students, and current college students. Artwork must have been completed after 2019.
*To be eligible for scholarships, students must fill out the Fine Arts Scholarship Application at https://www.indycc.edu/financial-aid/scholarships and complete their FAFSA online at www.studentaid.gov with ICC selected as one of their schools.
SPECIFICATIONS
Each student artist may submit up to three original works in any medium not exceeding 60 inches in any dimension.
HOW TO SUBMIT
Please fill out the following google form to submit your artwork.
Artists will be notified of acceptance by March 11 and must drop off their ready-to-hand artwork to the ICC Main Campus between March 21 through March 28.
ACCEPTED WORKS
All artwork accepted for the exhibition must be ready for professional installation (framed/wired or alternative approved methods appropriate to the work). Plexiglas is preferred over conventional glass.
