Independence Community College held its Fall Graduation Ceremony on December 7, at 6:00 p.m. in the William Inge Theatre. Roughly students graduated this fall semester.
“I am so proud of the graduates from ICC this year,” said Dr. Vincent Bowhay, ICC President. “They've overcome a pandemic to achieve their academic goals and personal dreams.”
Students were honored for Student of the Month Awards, being Honor Graduates and Phi Theta Kappa Members.
Andy Taylor spoke as the honored speaker.
“Andy Taylor was a natural selection for our Fall 2021 commencement speaker,” said Bowhay. He is the storyteller of Southeast Kansas and truly cares about our region. His inspirational appeal and compelling personal story left our graduates and their families inspired for the future.”
