The Independence Community College guest artist series welcomes talented violinist Robert Radliff and pianist Choo Choo Hu in “Meet the Schumanns.” The concert, free and open to the public, takes place Wed. Oct. 20 at 7 pm at the Independence Historical Museum and Arts Center, 123 North 8th St.
“Meet the Schumanns” is supported in part by a grant from the Kansas Creative Arts Industries Commission, which receives support from the National Endowment for the Arts, a federal agency.
Radliff is a featured soloist at numerous orchestras across the East coast and performs with the Littman Quartet of New Jersey. Hu , a recent is a graduate of the Peabody Conservatory, frequently collaborates with Atlanta symphony and Atlanta Opera, am and will join the Trans-Siberian Orchestra for their 2021 winter tour.
The program features music for violin and piano by 19th-Century composers Clara Schumann and Robert Schumann.
