Tomorrow night, ICC’s own Dr. Larry Markiewicz will be conducting his second Mid-Continent Band concert. ICC’s Chair of Arts & Letters, Heather Mydosh will be announcing, as she has done most of the season. A highlight of the evening, ICC Faculty Member Bridget Carson will have two of her works premiered, a fanfare commissioned by the band for the full band entitled "Golden Hour" and a brass quintet with percussion called "Fireflies." This will be the final concert in the the 128-year-old Mid-Continent Band’s summer concert series and will take place at 7:00 p.m. at the Riverside Park Band Shell. There is plenty of space at the park for social distancing.
