Don't miss our next musical theatre production!

ICC's next theater production will be the musical [Title of Show], scheduled Friday and Saturday, March 29 and 30, at 7 p.m., and Sunday, March 31, at 2 p.m. in the William Inge Theater.

Directed by Dr. Page Petrucka, ICC’s Associate Director of Theatre, the unusually titled production is based on the book by Hunter Bell and was originally produced by the Vineyard Theatre in New York City in 2006. A production later hit Broadway at the Lyceum Theatre in 2008.

ICC’s production is the “clean version” of the more edgy original. The show stars Austin Hancock in the role of Hunter. Katelynn “Rosie” Rosenberg, an ICC sophomore majoring in theatre performance, stars as Susan; Tyler Ridgeway, ICC music major plays the part of Jeff; and McKenzie Clay, ICC freshman and sociology major, plays Heidi. Karen Knox serves as music director for the show and also plays the role of Mary.

ICC student and aspiring professional actor Christian Lucas is both stage manager and costume designer for the production. Other key roles include Harty Blackert, set designer; Raymond Essington, vocal coach; Blade Smith, light designer; and Matt Gardner, sound/video designer.

General admission tickets for the performance are $7. Admission for students, seniors and military personnel are $5.
