Independence Community College (ICC) music department will perform their fall jazz band concert at 7:00 p.m., Wednesday, Oct. 25 in the William Inge Theater on ICC’s campus.
The jazz band will feature music from the 1930s through modern day—including music from James Bond and Radiohead. Music Instructor and Band Director, Matt Carter, says that the students have been working very hard on this music throughout the semester.
“The band has grown since last year and we are able to present more complex music,” said Carter. “It’s exciting to see the growth—both musically and numerically within the band.”
The jazz band concert is open to the community and admission is free.
ICC music department’s next performance is the fall choral concert on Nov. 12.
