Independence, Kansas – April 27, 2017 - The Independence Community College’s vocal ensembles present selections ranging from soul to Broadway at its spring concert Sunday, April 30, at 2 p.m., at the William Inge Theater. Admission is free.
Four ICC ensembles will perform: The Chamber Singers; the Chorale, and two ensembles new this year, the Women’s Chorus and the Men’s Chorus.
Conducting the groups are ICC music professors Eric Rutherford and Michelle Rutherford. Accompanists are Sarah Scovel and Karen Knox.
The concert will include “sneak peek” selections from the musical “Les Miserables,” which will be presented by ICC Theater and Music departments in the 2016-17 school year.
