Fab Lab ICC to host renowned entrepreneur Schoeniger at Memorial Hall

Gary Schoeniger, Founder of the Entrepreneurial Learning Initiative (ELI) & Co-Author of Who Owns the Ice House? Eight Life Lessons from an Unlikely Entrepreneur

Independence, Kansas — April 5, 2017— Gary Schoeniger, founder of the Entrepreneurial Learning Initiative (ELI) and Co-Author of Who owns the Ice House? Eight Life Lessons from an Unlikely Entrepreneur will speak at a community keynote from 11:30 – 1:00 pm Tuesday, May 2 at the Historical Memorial Hall and Civic Center.

Schoeniger will be speaking about re-defining entrepreneurship and entrepreneurial thinking.

With his focus on the entrepreneurial mindset, Schoeniger has presented numerous keynotes, workshops and training programs throughout the U.S. and abroad. Using the entrepreneurial life lessons, he has led the development of the Ice House Entrepreneurship Program.

Fab Lab ICC Director, Jim Correll helped coordinate the keynote and believes that anyone in the community can benefit from Schoeniger’s expertise.

“The benefit comes from seeing that entrepreneurial mindset goes far beyond business ownership,” said Correll. “Everyone in our community needs it to become better problem-solvers for the world in which we live.”

The Entrepreneurial Learning Initiative is a global thought leader dedicated to expanding human potential through entrepreneurial mindset education. ELI serves academic institutions, government agencies, profit, and non-profit organizations around the world to empower their constituents with an entrepreneurial mindset through professional development training, facilitator certification, and curriculum content.
