Theatre to Perform ‘I LOVE YOU, YOU’RE PERFECT, NOW CHANGE'

Independence Community College Fine Arts is excited to produce ‘I LOVE YOU, YOU’RE PERFECT, NOW CHANGE’ (ILYYPNC), by Joe Dipietro, April 14-16, 2022. The performance will take place at the Booth Hotel and admission is free.

“I LOVE YOU, YOU’RE PERFECT, NOW CHANGE, is one of this generation's funniest looks at love and the relationship,” explains Paul Molnar, Director. “Joe DiPietro and Jimmy Roberts have teamed up to create this fast-paced, irreverent yet moving musical experience.  First dates, blind dates, terrible dates, finding love, losing love, and every stage in between is what is explored during this whirlwind, euphonious event.”

ILYYPNC is a musical comedy about everything you have ever secretly thought about dating, romance, marriage, lovers, husbands, wives, and in-laws, but were afraid to admit.  This witty musical revue tackles modern love in all its forms: from the perils and pitfalls of the first date to marriage, children, and the twilight years of life.

“We have pulled together ICC Theatre students along with some of Independence’s favorite community members,” concluded Molnar. “The ensemble work will have you rolling on the floor and crying for more.  Please come early and enjoy a cocktail before the show in the beautiful bar in the hotel.  See you at the show!”

Location:  201 W. Main Street, Independence, KS 67301
