On stage or on display, the Independence Community College Fine Arts Department has a lineup of theater, music and visual arts to entertain audiences of all interests.
Under the direction of Page Petrucka and Paul Molnar, the theater department offers four productions, along with the annual student-written and directed Anna Plays.
The ICC instrumental ensembles led by Larry Markiewicz consist of concert band, jazz band, and athletics band. Alexis Lowder leads the vocal music ensembles and voice, and JD Maguire leads the visual arts program.

Instrumental: “ICC Band Honors Day” Sat. Feb. 1, 2020, at 4 p.m., William Inge Theatre. ICC will host a concert featuring high school instrumentals from across the region.
Theater: “Silent Sky,” Fri., Sat. Feb. 28-29 at 7p.m., Sun. March 1 at 2 p.m., William Inge Theatre.
Instrumental: “ICC Jazz and Concert Band in Performance,” Wed. May 6, at 7 p.m., William Inge Theatre.
Theatre: the musical “I Love You, You’re Perfect, Now Change,” Fri. and Sat. May 1-2 at 7 p.m., Sun. May 3 at 2 p.m., performance location to be announced.
Dates will soon be announced for the 39th William Inge Theater Festival, honoring two-time Pulitzer Prize for Drama winner Lynn Nottage.
