Independence Community College currently offers the following technical programs:

Program Specific Admissions Criteria:

The following ICC technical programs have a selective admissions process that require the following:
•    Cosmetology:  Prospective students are required to submit a short essay and two letters of reference and must complete an admissions interview prior to acceptance in the program.
•    Culinary Arts:  Prospective students are required to complete an admissions interview prior to acceptance in the program.
•    Veterinary Technology: Prospective students are required to have completed high school (or its equivalent) with a 2.5 or better GPA and meet one of the following criteria: A) 18+ ACT score or B) 65+ COMPASS Reading/Writing score.  Prospective students should have already completed program prerequisite courses including English Composition I, Biology I, General Chemistry, Introduction to Veterinary Technology and College Success.  Prospective students are required to complete the veterinary technology admissions application, pay a $25 application fee, submit an essay and two letters of recommendation and complete an admissions interview prior to acceptance in the program.
