Computer Information Technology

The Associate of Applied Science Degree in Computer Information Technology is the perfect program for people interested in the joining the ever-changing world of computers. Computer Information Techs are involved in creating and maintaining the technologies the world has come to rely on. There is a strong demand for graduates with a degree in computer information technology. In fact, computer occupations are expected to grow at a rate much faster than other professions—by more than 15 percent over the next 10 years.

Students will graduate with the ability to customize software and computer applications, design and maintain computer networks, understand database principles, and develop basic computer programs.  And they will gain the business and management skills needed for immediate employment.

The Computer Information Technology field employs people in many different roles including:

The Computer Information Technology program also offers a Certificate that a student can complete in 2-4 semesters putting them in a position to obtain employment in their desired field while they complete their educational goal

Upon completion of the program students will:
