Athletic Training
About Athletic Training
The Athletic Training Program offers a broad spectrum of injury management for student-athletes and an academic experience for athletic training students. This coursework, coupled with hands-on experience in the athletic training room, provide the student an educational arena in which to prosper academically, and affords ample opportunities for learning in the areas of injury management, such as prevention, evaluation, treatment, rehabilitation, and athletic training room protocol.
Why ICC?
Athletic Training specific coursework is taught bt two currently practicing Athletic Trainers who provide current knowledge and experience. Classes are smaller and allow for individualized instruction. A smaller athletic training room and fewer student-athletes compared to others offers a better small class room teaching environment that may significantly enhance one's learning, primarily when it comes to hands-on learning.
