About Social Science
The Social Science Degree is one of the broadest categories of study and is ideal for students who aren't quite sure what they want to do in their professional life. Social Science is the umbrella term used to group the academic disciplines that study human aspects of the world from an empirical perspective. Key academic disciplines include: Geography, Political Science, Psychology and Sociology. It differs from the arts and humanities in that they tend to emphasize the use of the scientific method in the study of humanity.
