Independence Community College invites residents of Wilson, Montgomery, Elk, and Chautauqua counties to attend Service Area Community Appreciation Night during Pirate Basketball on February 4th. As a thank-you to the communities the college proudly serves, eligible community members will receive free admission with a valid ID and a complimentary bag of popcorn at concessions.

The Pirates will take on Fort Hays Tech Northwest with the women’s game tipping off at 5:30 p.m. followed by the men’s game at 7:30 p.m.

“This night is our way of showing appreciation for the communities that support our students, our programs, and Pirate Athletics,” said Melissa Anderson, ICC Athletic Director. “We’re excited to welcome our service area neighbors to campus for a fun night of basketball and community connection.”

Community members are encouraged to arrive early, bring a valid photo ID showing residency in one of the four counties, and enjoy an exciting night of Pirate basketball.
