“We are thrilled to open our doors at Independence Community College’s West Campus, where students will have direct access to career services, workforce readiness programs, and connections to local employers. Our goal is to be the #1 resource for students preparing to enter the workforce and for businesses seeking skilled talent. Students are at the heart of this partnership. By embedding workforce services on campus, we’re making it easier than ever for students to gain career readiness skills, explore opportunities, and build strong connections with the business community.”

The launch of the Workforce Center represents a shared commitment between ICC and KANSASWORKS to student success and community growth. “We are proud to showcase our new Workforce Center and highlight the programs that help students and faculty succeed, both inside and outside the classroom,” said David Adams, Vice President of Student Affairs. “By partnering with Kansas Works and other community organizations, we are strengthening the bridge between education and the workforce. Together, we are ensuring that our students have the resources, skills, and connections they need to thrive while also contributing to the vitality of our community and local economy.”
