The ICC Community Chorale invites the public to enjoy an afternoon of music at its Solfège Madness Fall Concert on Sunday, October 12, at 2:00 p.m. in the William Inge Theatre.
Under the direction of Sherri Durbin, with accompanist Sarah Stone, the Chorale will present a lively program centered around solfège, the musical scale known for its do-re-mi syllables. The concert will feature arrangements from well-known composers and conclude with the beloved classic Do-Re-Mi from The Sound of Music.
“This program is designed to be fun, engaging, and accessible for all audiences,” said Sherri Durbin, ICC Vocal Music Director. “We’re excited to showcase the talents of our community singers and ICC students in a performance that highlights both learning and joy in music.”
The concert is free and open to the public.
