Jesse Comeau was raised in Carthage, Missouri. The son of two teachers, Jesse has
always had a deep passion for learning and discussion. He would persue that passion
at Carthage High School, where he joined their Speech and Debate team going to multiple
state tournaments. Jesse would continue his education at Pittsburg State University,
receiving his Bachelor and Master's degree in Communication. As a student teacher
at Pitt State, Jesse found a passion for education and quickly looked for opportunities
to continue helping students with their Communication skills. Briefly working as an
Academic Coach at Dodge City Community College, Jesse accepted the position of Associate
Professor of Communication here at Independence Community College in Spring 2022.
Jesse continues his passion of helping other find their voice.
