Online Learning Resources

On this page I will put information, video tutorials, and updates that will assist both faculty, staff, and students as we all navigate the transition to the online environment.  We are recieiving access to free resources from some of our vendors to help with this and I will attach those as well.  Dani and I will be fielding the questions about content and materials.  If we can not answer the question we will help direct you to the correct contact on campus just as we would in the library.  Please understand that due to the situation and the constant changes we may experience this may take a bit of time so please be patient!

Need WiFi?

In light of the transition to online courses for the remainder of the semester and the closure of campus, here are some resources for those who may not have access to reliable internet (or access at all) - free or reduced cost Broadband for students:

Altice:

Cox:

  • Cox for new customers and 19.95/mo for their lowest grade of service.
    • Open wifi mentioned HERE.
  • Hotspot locations HERE.
  • Low income option called Connect2Compete and also an “emergency offer” first month free with no annual contract HERE.

Comcast:

  • Offers for new customers HERE.

Spectrum/Charter:

AT&T:

Xfinity

  • Xfinity WiFi hotspots across the country will be available to anyone who needs them for free – including non-Xfinity Internet subscribers. Once at a hotspot, consumers should select the “xfinitywifi” network name in the list of available hotspots and then launch a browser.

Note:  ICC is not promoting any of these nor do we have any ability to set these up for you, we are simply providing information.  We will add more to this list as we learn about them.
