HR Policies, Processes and Procedures

Independence Community College HR policies, processes and procedures provide a reference to use in carring out day-to-day administrative functions and in directing college employees. HR policies, processes and procedures are guidelines to follow which give consistency to decisions across college campuses and apply to all employees of the college, however, if a HR policy, process or procedure is inconsistent with the Faculty Negotiated Agreement, the Faculty Negotiated Agreement supersedes the conflict.  

HR policies, processes and procedures should not be construed to conflict with any current employment law or regulation. To that end, the Board of Trustees and ICC Administration reserve the right to add to, delete from, alter, amend HR policies, processes and procedures as needed. Every effort is made to publish the most current versions of the HR policies, processes and procedures, but there may be an occasion when a HR policy, procedure or process may change prior to publication on this site.
