SUMMERFEST

SummerFest
is a comprehensive six week summer residential program where
students experience what college life is like by living on
campus during the week, taking core and extra-curricular
classes, and participating in evening activities. At the
conclusion of the program, students go on a week long trip

engage in unique cultural events, and reflect upon their

WORKSTUDY : The work study program is a paid
internship and a great opportunity for students to work side
by side experts in their
field of study, gaining valuable work experience.
Students participate in the work study program twice a week
for four weeks during
SummerFest. In the past, all students were eligible to
participate in the program, but starting summer 2009, only
students who have
maintained a 2.8 GPA during the school year will be
eligible. In addition, students will be required to
interview with Upward Bound staff
to ensure commitment and maturity. |
