Manning Scheduled to
Teach One-Day CPR
Sue Manning will
instruct training in
Cardiopulmonary
Resuscitation (CPR) as
part of Independence
Community College’s
Allied Health
programming this month.
The afternoon class will
be held on Monday, June
29th. Manning will
instruct the half-credit
hour course from
1:00-6:00 p.m. in room
AC114 of the Academic
Building on ICC’s main
campus.
This course is open to
everyone interested in
training for
professional growth or
personal knowledge.
Study will include
infant, child and adult
foreign body airway
obstruction and CPR as
well as pocket mask use,
universal precautions,
skills performance and
didactic learning.
Upon completion of this
course, the student will
receive a two-year
certification by the
American Heart
Association.
