Manning Scheduled to
Teach One-Day CPR
Sue Manning will
instruct training in
Cardiopulmonary
Resuscitation (CPR) as
part of Independence
Community College’s
Allied Health
programming this month.
The one-day class
session will be held on
Saturday, October 11th.
Manning will instruct
the half-credit hour
course from 9:00 a.m. to
5:00 p.m. at the
Independence Corporate
Office Building, in Room
323.
This course is open to
everyone interested in
training for
professional growth or
personal knowledge.
Study will include
infant, child and adult
foreign body airway
obstruction and CPR as
well as pocket mask use,
universal precautions,
skills performance and
didactic learning.
Completion of this
course will result in a
two-year certification
of the student by the
American Heart
Association.
