Online Education at Independence Community College offers a variety of courses designed to help students complete a degree or certificate. Each student will receive the same quality education in the online environment as is offered in the classroom. Students have access to services and resources without ever stepping foot on our campus. From applying to college, enrolling in courses, receiving textbooks, and even tutoring services; ICC works hard to combine customer service with a quality education to those students who want to learn from a distance.

While online courses are not self-paced, students are able to work at any hour of the day or night. Course material is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. The courses are designed to engage students who have a variety of learning styles.  Videos,  audio casts, and the traditional reading of material are among a few of the delivery methods of educational material. Discussion boards with peers, worksheets, and project based learning activities are just some of the ways students interact with the material.

If you are interested in learning more about online coursework at ICC, check out the variety of student links provided on this page or contact our Director of Online and Continuing Education, Jessica Morgan-Tate at jmorgantate@indycc.edu or 620-332-5672.
