Independence, Kansas—March 17, 2017—Independence Community College (ICC) will host the “April Foolery Magic Show” at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, April 2 in the William Inge Theater at ICC. The show will feature award-winning entertainers of the International Brotherhood of Magicians: Terry Elton and Pete Walterscheid.

Elton has been performing his unique blend of Comedy and Magic for over 35 years. From chuckles to belly laughs with subtle humor and sight gags, Elton takes his audiences on a roller coaster ride of magical entertainment featuring his own creations. He has been named Close-up and Stand-up Magician of the year in Kansas City on several occasions as well as the Stage Magician of the year at the Midwest Magic Jubilee in St Louis MO. When it comes to comedy and magic, Pete Walterscheid takes great pride in what he presents. He jokingly refers to himself as “world famous in certain parts of Kansas. He has been awarded a magician membership to the Magic Castle in Hollywood. Walterscheid was a featured performer in the “Masters of Magic Tour 2014” that performed in the Kansas City area finishing with a sold-out crowd at Theater Lawrence in Lawrence, KS.  He has recently been awarded the title “Close-Up Magician of the Year” of the International Brotherhood of Magicians Ring #129 of the greater Kansas City area. He was a chosen performer for the closing “Comedy Magic Extravaganza” show of the Kansas City Fringe Festival the last two years.

Be it on stage or in the spectator’s hands, Walterscheid’s magic delights and thrills.  You can’t help but become a part of the excitement and fun that ‘Magic by Pete’ extends to his audiences.
