She has participated in multiple theater festivals, and is an accomplished playwright authoring, Vendetta Day, The Beauty of Affirming, The Calendar, The Hopeful, Peaceful Pixel of My Genuinely Lived Life, just to name a few.

Prior to accepting the theater position at ICC, Petrucka taught at Utah Valley University and Brigham Young University.

Her dissertation, Rewriting the Single Woman’s Narrative in Two Original Scripts, earned her a PhD in Fine Arts, Acting/Playwrighting from Texas Tech University. She also has a Master of Arts in Theater from Utah State University and a Bachelor of Science from Southern Utah University.
