Dameon L. Hughes is entering his second year at ICC. Coach Hughes will coach the Defensive Backs this season. Coach Hughes played football and ran track at Boca Raton High School. After graduation he earned a scholarship for football at Knoxville College in Tennessee.

He started his coaching career at Boca Raton High School, where he spent 6 years coaching wide receivers and having input on the passing game. After Dameon left Boca High in 2004 he started coaching wide receivers at Atlantic Community High School. He coached at Atlantic High from 2004 to 2008. After leaving Atlantic High School he became the offensive coordinator at Boca High School. His offensive line was one of the top passing offenses in Palm Beach County, in south Florida.
